Last night the Nablus festival culminated with a performance by the Polish band and a group of Palestinian musicians at the Khan Al Wakala. Their fusion of traditional Palestinian and classical music, punctuated with short fables, not only served as a brilliant performance, but also as an apt encapsulation of the festival as a whole: This week has brilliantly combined diverse art forms from across the world.

Last night was the perfect end to what has been a fantastic week of culture and art and I don’t think anyone has any doubts that this festival will continue to thrive and flourish.
